Their initial communication is clandestine, relying on coded messages and a "rock drop site." Jaxson confirms the financial conspiracy involves the Caldwell Foundation. The complexity escalates when Mark Vance, a third Regent involved in the cover-up, suffers a seizure and is hastily exiled by Jaxson's father's fixer, Thorne, putting Jaxson in debt to his family. Lenny decrypts server logs from Jaxson, identifying the fraud perpetrator as the user ID R.FITZ (Reginald Fitzwilliam). However, Fitzwilliam has an unbreakable alibi, pointing to an elaborate impersonation scheme. Trip, suspecting Jaxson, intercepts a message from Lenny, confirming Jaxson is the mole. Lenny publishes the explosive story, "FRAUD & FEAR," detailing Calloway Sr.'s impersonation and the financial conspiracy.
