My Piloting Diary

This is a record of my experiences in obtaining my private pilot's license. When I began to learn to fly, I realized that this was potentially the fulfillment of a long-standing dream and was important, at least to me. I wanted to record the experiences and I wanted to share my experiences with my parents, so I began to record my progress as an online diary. These are the original pages from that diary. I wrote nearly every day that I went up, detailing what I learned and how I felt during it. I recall during my initial training being simultaneously eager and terrified many times and feeling fatigued at the end of most days, but I always tried to spend a few minutes at the diary. It turned out to be quite a ride.
