Whisper Hollow

After retiring several years ago, Neil D. Klee decided to pursue his hidden passion for writing fiction novels. Over six years later, he has written two book series. He favors stories based on family, small town living, community, comradery, mystery, drama and stories that leave readers with a smile on their face. His second book series, Whisper Hollow, has four books in the series and book #5 will be added at some point in the future. His inspiration for the Whisper Hollow series began when he lived in north Georgia for two years. He fell in love with the mountains, the people and the compelling history of the Cherokee Nation, who used to live in north Georgia over 250 years ago. In the first book of the Whisper Hollow series, the fictional small town of Whisper Hollow, located south of Hiawassee and northeast of Young Harris, has been rumored to have a Cherokee legend that defies belief. Legend implies that Cherokee spirit warriors roam the forests and mountains of north Georgia, especially in and around the small town of Whisper Hollow. According to legend, the ongoing mission of the spirit warriors is to protect the land and the innocent and to scourge those who would prey on the virtuous or disrespect the hallowed hills where the Cherokee Nation had lived many years ago.
