Where did my bird freinds go?

I awoke bound and shackled at the door step of the mental clink. I thought to myself, how did a guy with the most boring and tedious job ever end up like this. I was a computer programmer on the mainframes. I was boring. People would rather jump into a volcano rather than hear me talk about my job. How did my boring self end up like this? Now I know. I had De Quervain's tendonitus. I could not sleep. I was both awake and asleep but neither in a land of the lost.
