Discerning Eyes

Aurora’s parents were murdered right in their own home. And what’s worse is that she walked in on the tail end of it. She was the police’s only witness and all she could remember was being knocked to the floor as the assailant fled the scene. Without a description of the perpetrator or any solid leads, the case quickly hits a dead end, leaving Aurora with no other choice, but to accept her uncle’s offer to come and stay with him and his new wife.
