The Day of Co-Dawn

There is something very special about Blandania. The Grondit family live in squalor in a typical Blandanian apartment block, and they are suffering the consequences of the recent changes. Too many changes, all at once. Communism is over and life should be better. Zorad, the adolescent daughter, has her first serious boyfriend, but the results are both disasterous and tragic. Her mother is fighting hard to bring up her family and keep down a job at the local brewery, but the strain takes her close to breaking point. Was her fall from the apartment window an accident or attempted suicide? But there is something special about Blandania that gives them the will and cohesion that they need.
