Four Silver Buttons

This is the story of the men and women who policed in the 1980's, now a disappearing breed left over from the Victorian Police Forces. This is a story of those individuals, their partners, their loves and hates and the day to day living that makes them the unique people they become in society, struggling to deal with the difficulties of normal life when you live in a goldfish bowl with only each other to keep you safe and sane, or so you hope when sanity, murder and violence drift so very close to the seemingly idyllic surface of a gentle rural life.
