The Carer

Set in present-day Bristol, “The Carer” tells the story of a modern-day female carer–companion who is stunningly beautiful in appearance, but whose mind is hideously cruel and calculating. Aided by her wicked stepfather, Rebecca Thorneycroft identifies with the elderly and the most vulnerable in our society. Her prerequisite is that they are immensely rich and, if she’s extremely lucky, suffering from dementia. Rebecca’s background is filled with physical and mental abuse and her ambitions are to become super rich and to destroy the ties with her evil stepfather, Tom Thorneycroft. After gaining a client’s confidence, aided by her stepfather and a crooked solicitor by the name of Dominic Symes of Montague Symes & Co, Clifton, Bristol, Rebecca sets out on a path of forging wills, stealing money, blackmail and anything else that might help achieve her aims. That is until she meets up with the likes of Detective Sergeant Andy McDermott of Redland CID and it all starts to go horribly wrong!
