Harae Kotoba
A Sacred Shinto Purification Prayer Tracing Workbook (Trace 30)
ByNiko .
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Harae Kotoba is the most basic purification prayer recited at the start of Shinto rituals. It is traditionally said to purify unseen impurity, misfortune, and negative energy — cleansing mind and body to stand rightly before the kami. It has been treasured as a prayer since ancient times.
This workbook is a tracing practice built around that prayer, letting you trace it one character at a time with a pen. Lightly printed characters are followed slowly, stroke by stroke. Tracing is said to steady the breath and calm the mind as you go.
