About Nolan J. Harkness

Nolan has been taking pictures and doing inspirational writing for several years on a small scale. In the past few years of his life it has been his desire to hone his skills and begin to publish some of his works. While taking classes at Elmira College in Elmira NY he has published his first work. For many years he worked with troubled youth volunteering thousands of hours of his time developing youth programs and hosting a syndicated radio broadcast for teens called Teen Talk Radio. He hopes that his photographic art combined with his inspirational thoughts will encourage people of all ages to lead healthier, happier, more self accepting lives. He also hopes that everyone who views his work will get something a little different than the last. There is a scripture that says; The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1NIV. Whether or not you believe in any kind of God the complex beauty of nature is a wonderful teaching tool.
