
This project was developed by Oliver Laric in 2012, upon invitation by The Collection in Lincoln to propose an idea for the Contemporary Art Society’s Annual Award for museums. Laric’s proposal to 3D scan parts of their collection and subsequently publish all data for free was chosen as the winning project.
68 objects have been 3D scanned over the course of a year, starting in 2013 at the Usher Gallery, The Collection and the St. Hugh’s Roman Catholic Church in Lincoln.
