How to write your first book?

On the 4th of June 2014 when I put my pen to paper to write the first chapter of my first book as a student in the university, I didn't know that the last chapter of that book will be written in 2016.
Two years? Yes!
Why did it take so long to write a book?
For me honestly, I had no simplified template on how to write my first book as an author. I remember overloading one chapter with many key details that could have been separated into other chapters.
Well, whilst it took me two years to write my first book, I noticed that some other authors found it easier to put together a good book within a month whether fictional or non-fictional.
In my interaction with many other authors, I noted that for many of them it wasn’t as easy when they wrote their first books but with time they learnt how to speed up the rate of book completion.
I can attest to this as I have written 4 books on public speaking and produced many materials on that subject still.
So many people think writing is a talent from birth that only those who have it in them can do it. I am one who prefers to talk than to write because words come to me easily and when altered and once the message has been passed, we all are good.
As I met people, I noticed that there are people who prefer to read than to hear. Their eyes are a more trusted body part than their ears.
If everyone in the world were deaf, how do you communicate to them in such a way so they don’t miss out on the intention of the message sent?
Hence, my four books.
As I started writing this book, I felt joyful at this opportunity to guide you simply on how you can write your first book given the many lessons I have learnt.
In this book, I have shared from my experience as a writer (with 6 books to my name as at the time of the release of this book) with some usable and simple ideas that can lead you on your way to writing your first book.
At the final chapter, I left for you a template that you can start with on your journey to write your first book.
