A beam of Darkness

This short story is about a mental ill. And he is suffering from some kinds of mental illness. Society hasn't a good view of mental ills. That's why he is forced to spend most of his time in his dark room. He is suffering from an unknown mental illness called " Nigerism ". and despite of health of his eyes and brain, he can't detect differences between colours and he sees everywhere in black and white. This person's life passes in his dark room. Even of opening shutters every where is still dim. He uses cigarettes, wine, and Morphine. Also, his occupation is translating. He works as a German translator in some publishments. He has written a lot of books, treatises, and articles but no publishment accepts them because of his mental disorders. He lives far from the city in a cottage with his old mother. His mother used to drink a lot. That's why she lost her legs...
