Chinelo finds herself in gariki, a brothel in the most inhuman part of the country. She ended up here as a result of her parents’ separation. She undergoes countless number of emotional and physical battles in a bid to free herself from the condition her parents put her into. A condition of having to sleep with more than five men a day to make ends meet. She became a prostitute to secure a family around herself. She however finds out that the family was not what she deserved. She falls in love with Fabian. A young man, who appears to be gentle and well to do. The love she encounters liberates her not just from the emotional torture but also from the physical trauma of being a prostitutes. The story exfoliates the evil nature of divorce, prostitution and the liberating effect of love. Everyone is capable of loving, even the dirtiest prostitute in the street.
