Integrity as defined in Webster’s is an uncompromising, adherence to moral and ethical principles, honesty, and a state of being whole or entire. Leaders are people whom others look to for guidance, accountability and wisdom. As leaders, we must watch that words are actions in and out of the public’s eye and they are the same. Integrity and trust go hand in hand. When someone is trusted they hold value, when that trust is broken there is a breaking of the values that person held. Integrity takes resolve. We discover that integrity--the direct opposite quality of hypocrisy--is the quality that people want most to see in a leader. Begin today to make things right in life, one-step at a time. Integrity is a life-long processes not something that is done in an afternoon. Integrity is a way of life.
