Penny From The Pound

My previous owners called me Jenny, but that didn’t suit……‘cause I had a big round spot like a big brown PENNY! Penny, a Cardigan Corgi, was brought home from the pound, to replace the family dog, a Jack Russell cross Amanda, who had died. Although the two dogs were similar in colour, Penny was NOTHING like Amanda. Penny was a very wayward dog, but a very talented cricketer. The children of the neighbourhood all loved her, especially the boys, with whom she played cricket seven days a week; after school and at weekends. This is the true story of Penny, the cricketing canine legend from The Gap in Brisbane, Australia.
