Operation Veda

At one point Carol would have given anything that would alleviate the boredom of the train. Now that the next phase of the operation had begun, the dancing had come to an end and she found checking the clip in her pistol had become a lifesaving necessity. Discovering who was on which side of the operation was not coming as easy as had been thought in the safety of the planning room. How could the plan she so thoroughly crafted lead in so many unexpected directions and now she was the bait. Could she find the courage deep inside to take a life if the need arose – time would surely tell.
