When I read her poetry, I had to take a bite. The Queen is at every event, always on the scene sitting back in attack mode, ready to sting, red carpet rolled out, hats off, knees down. Take a bow while Mother Lee take her crown, Her poetry dances like color bottle on a spirit tree, so touching, so dramatic, so fancy free. She moves about with grace, writing bout everything she taste, words are like blood flowing through her vain, like thunder and lightning and soft rain. What a beautiful smile, what a unique style, a Memphis fashion queen, living her life the way she live her dreams. Queen Mother Lee see the world through the eyes of her ancestors, She is the village, provider and protector. She is Sojourner ruth, Harriet Tubman, Madam C. J. Walker, Coretta Scott King.
