Westward to Las Magia

In the early days of the Civil War, a group of witches and other mystics in New Orleans prepare to venture out West, in hopes of founding a town where they can practice their arts openly and in peace. Their efforts may be thwarted by their coven leader, a pack of unsavory drifters, and a local lawman whose motivations do not entirely involve enforcing the law. The sorceress Sarah Midsummer, her young apprentice Nora, playful and active orphan Zelda, befuddled carpenter Tim Lockley, stoic James Freeman, crude and angry gang leader "Ditch" Chandler, and conspiratorial police chief Scarborough form the core of a rich cast of diverse characters with strong personalities.
