Sumo Ballet - five windows into the imagined everyday
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Sumo Ballet is a deep exploration into the fundamental mechanisms of architecture—skin, structure and ground. Breaks in methodology challenge new potentials in these architectural fundaments. The work puts into question conditions of representation, situations of making and ways of seeing through the implementation of five circumstances.
A Wrist Watch Drycleaner, Weather Balloon Dealership, Fast Food Wax Museum, Taxidermy Campaign Office, and Traffic Control Observatory become sites of investigation through the making of five constructs. This making rewards agility rather than strength through quick shifts and unknown ends.
