Until 1980 Boeing rruled supreme in the production of commercial airplanes. Since then it has needed to compete on level footing with Airbus gthat now has the dubious honour of producing the largest passenger airplane the A380 Supr Jumbo Boeing opting for its 787 Dreamliner though this is soon to be challenged by the new A350 and afull range of 'new' NEo designs for release in 2017.
