Savage

A survivalist story that turns into a hard sci-fi epic with a disturbing romantic backdrop. There are people who will read this book for what it says, and there are people who will read it for what it means. Savage contains depictions of cruelty, hatred, and abuse not because these things are admirable, but because they are part of the world the characters struggle to survive and ultimately reject. Every reader will take something different from this story, but I hope that beyond the violence, they find one about humanity, resilience, and hope.
