Guaranteed

“Guaranteed” was highly commended in the Commonwealth Broadcasting Associations short story competition 2006-7. It is often frustrating in life when we plan to perfection and everything goes according to plan only to have our hopes dashed by someone else who has taken steps to ensure their own happy ending.
