The book tells how cultures such as the Mods, Skinheads, Suedheads and Scooter gangs along with the Northern Soul music movement influenced the youth throughout the country in the 1960's and 1970's. Violence drugs and gang life were the main ingredients that attracted young people to experience a freedom away from the constraints placed on them by the establishment and of course by their parents.
