Indoor cultivation of vegetables, fruits, cacti & other wild species
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This book, written in essay form, is a collective culmination of botanical experiences of cultivating edible and aesthetic plant species indoors using old pots, enriching and turning the soil, and pruning. It describes how seeds are harvested by hand, dried and sowed. Natural methods, in addition to sprays, are discussed for effectively dealing with diseases and pests. The health benefits and mental fulfilment of cultivating plants, are hugely beneficial especially during the long mandatory coronavirus lockdown (2020-21). The author recalled and used some of the cultivation methods and techniques taught to him by his paternal grandfather whilst growing up in Rhodesia and Zimbabwe. Having been encouraged by academics based in India, Zimbabwe and Asia, the author decided to finally compose this book. It is hoped that it will be of educational and recreational benefit to all readers. Indeed, all flora are an essential ingredient for all life, ecological stability and species diversification on Earth.
