A Storm Came

A story about father and daughter getting separated in the deep woods of Northern Montana while picking mushrooms. The six year old girl is afraid of the coming storm, while the father falls off a cliff when it collapses breaking his leg. The girl finally finds shelter, and the man is rescued by a dog who goes for his master, a kind Indian, who also causes a search to be made for the daughter. Soon together again, they are airlifted out, and a happy ending comes when the man sends a sky-crane full of supplies back to the Indian village. A great read for all ages.
