When I Finally Gave Up

As I tell this story I want to let you know that I am going to be protecting my families identity and will not be putting down their names. I just don’t want to give the wrong idea concerning their part in my story when I deal with some of the more serious subjects. I want to let you know that I will be dealing with some hard to talk about. The subject of addiction and depression are not things that can be easy to discuss. I spiraled quickly in my life because I failed to have the right type of support system. I failed to be honest with the people that I should have admitted my struggles to. I tried to deal with things on my own and it brought me down. The key thing that I want you to see in my story is that if you are battling through these things also you can find help if you are open and honest with those around you. Talk to your family. Talk to you pastors and find the help you need. Thanks, and God bless
