This volume contains Introductions and Reviews for each lesson of the Global Civilization and Global Studies program. These are not formal lectures nor articles written for scholarly journals; rather, they were originally informal oral presentations to assist mentors in guiding students and to direct students in their studies. Both mentors and students should obtain a copy of this volume. Mentoring guidelines are provided in the introductory pages of this volume.
