the Barcelona Summer

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This Blog-turned-Book narrates the story of two architecture students, Angelina Pinto and Randall Holl, as they join to work in Barcelona, Spain from opposite corners of the United States. Their goal is to immerse themselves into a foreign architectural and social culture by working for a prominent Spanish architect. This began as a means to keep contact with family and friends in the US – one photo and one note per day would let everyone know we were okay. Trained by architecture to be critical, this turned into a socio-archi-cultural analysis of Spain. Destinations include Barcelona, Figueres, Roses, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Valencia, Granada, Cordoba, and more. Follow them on their unpredictable journey through traps, surprises, separation, sickness, impossible projects, dangerous journeys, sublime beauty, and architectural wonders. How many lives can a life-changing experience change if a life-changing experience can change lives?
