THE RESURRECTION PROTOCOL
A Science Fiction novel
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Inspired by frontier ideas in consciousness studies, quantum biology, brain-computer interfaces, and the spiritual cosmology of the Urantia book.
The story is set in the near future at the Orison Institute, a research hospital and quantum neuroscience center in Montreal. Publicly, Orison studies coma, traumatic brain injury, paralysis, and neurodegenerative disease. Privately, its researchers have found a pattern that appears only near death: a coherent burst of photonic and electromagnetic activity they call the Last Spark.
Dr. Mara Ilyan, a skeptical neuroscientist, leads the project. Dr. Elias Voss, a physicist of Penrose spacetime, believes the Last Spark is not merely a dying artifact but a transition signature. Kaito Ren, a graphene engineer, builds a noninvasive antenna crown that can detect weak neural fields without entering the skull. Sister Amara Lien, a contemplative psychologist, studies exoconsciousness: the possibility that conscious contact with non-human intelligence can occur in nonordinary states.
The plot begins with a mysterious death inside Orison. A scientist dies beside a measurement chamber, yet his signal continues. That anomaly draws the characters into questions of quantum memory, organ memory, near-death narratives, brain-computer interfaces, and the possibility of a morontia-like intermediate state between matter and spirit. Each discovery is useful, dangerous, and incomplete.
Part I, Discovery, follows the laboratory mystery. Part II, Contact, expands the story into encounters with intelligence that may be alien, posthuman, spiritual, or all three. Part III, The Resurrection Protocol, turns the discovery into a global crisis as governments and corporations race to control restoration technology. The Epilogue imagines a future in which death is no longer treated as extinction, but neither is resurrection treated as simple victory.
