A collection of photographs from St. Mary's Fire Lookout. A magical place above the Bitterroot Valley in Southwestern Montana. "My time as a fire lookout is one of the more powerful experiences of my life. This book’s goal isn’t so much to educate, but to put the reader on a lonely, granite peak and to share some of the insanity and epiphanies that go along with that lifestyle. Unfortunately, I’m not much of a writer so hopefully my images, although sometimes abstract, can transport the reader to my feelings and experiences while living atop my lonely apex." -RC Cone
