O Night Divine!

This is the story of boundless, unending love. At first, O Night Divine! appears to be a rather traditional telling of the story of the birth of Jesus. In actuality, Rebecca and Phyllis, a sister storytelling team, use the birth of Jesus as a metaphor to illustrate the importance of every child’s birth—to reinforce the message that every little soul born has an important place in this world—that no matter who you are, you belong; and you are not only loved, you are beloved. How this story came about—one night while deep in meditation, Jesus visited and asked that we spread the message of love; specifically that love is not something that can be corralled into the confines of any religion, philosophy or other formal structure. Love is larger than anything. We are created in love, to love and be loved. Pass it on!
