Artist

This short story is a part biographical, part fictional story of the life of an alcohol dependent artist, through the eyes of a grown up child.
Touching and emotional, Artist hints at the life the one could possibly have lived, and demonstrates the way alcoholism and violence can ruin the lives of a whole family, not just that of the sufferer.
Artist is written in the third person throughout, in an unusual style, using no names. Alcoholism is a nameless and classless disease, non-discriminatory and ruthless in its abrasive attack on human nature. Names are inappropriate.
