Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Dust in the Wind is a poetry collection for those who love to read descriptive writing. The author uses phrases in her work that inspire the imagination and feed the senses. What an accomplishment to create poetry that allows the reader to see and feel something special through the written word. Her genuine love of writing is clearly meant to help you know the tastes, sounds, scents, and the art and emotion infused into each piece. Like word painting, these prose and poetry works will not only delight, but will entice you to read them over and over again. Here is an excerpt from the poem "I Am October" I am October, a withered bloom, the last snippet of summer, clad in knitted gold and scarlet unraveling wool sweaters. I am splats of color waning, and I am hungry birds craving sweet clusters of ripened fruit from green and supple boughs. and from "An Autumn Wind" A gust in Autumn said she adored my knitting and snatched the threads with her bitter breeze. She unraveled my sweater of various shades, and hung it as jackets over disrobing trees.
