F, an Egyptian-American raised and based in the U.S., was brutalized in a police raid of a protest. In the months to come, F's Bipolar Disorder symptoms and hallucinations would worsen, but alongside a series of physical symptoms their concussion is sustained through. F's doctors have neglected much of his frustration to their ineffective treatment, focusing almost entirely on their Bipolar Diagnosis (one he's particularly uneasy with.) As F's hallucinations become more intense, they begin to recognize a recurring character: their father, Rahaf, a former organizer during the Egyptian Revolution. F begins to realize the missing pieces of their treatment, and the gaps that can only be filled with flames.
