Tennis Brat

Tennis Brat is the story of a retired 42 year old South American tennis legend Manuel who lives peacefully in the remote Andes with his buddy Doug raising llamas. Manuel goes reluctantly to London prior to Wimbledon for a sponsorship appearance for which he will make handsome money and gets hooked into coaching Claudia Wolfe, a 15 year old tennis prodigy from Queens NY. Claudia tries to convince Manuel to take her to his home in the Andes away from the craziness of the tennis circuit so she can really discover life. With a cast consisting of Manuel’s ex passionate flame Ingrid from the circuit who now writes for Reuters and is back to cover the tournament; Claudia’s marketing agent Florence from an Avon-equivalent corporate sponsor who is a crazy, success driven and drug taking wild woman from NY; and Claudia’s mother Gladys and father Buddy, the ex-prizefighter and Queens bar owner.
