Sixteen-year-old Cat Talon is spending her summer vacation at 12 Plight Road. Although her aunt and uncle say the house is not haunted, eerie events begin to transpire. Messages begin to appear on mirrors. Twelve crosses garnish the banister in the main entrance. When Blaise Plight finally visits Cat, a plan develops between the two of the present and the past mixing, and murder.
