Westminster Shorter Catechism with Proofs (ESV)

In 1647 the Westminster Assembly published this catechism as an aid to learn Protestant Christian doctrine. This edition contains the original catechism and Scripture proofs from the new English Standard Version of the Holy Bible. Also included is an index of subjects from the questions and answers. The editor left much room for notes on each page.This is the first volume of a planned three volume set of the Westminster Standards. Volume Two (Larger Catechism) should be available Fall 2007.
