This book is primarily for children but can appeal to others that have an unusual sense of humor. The story is told by a fat Rat named Ratso who has been frustrated trying to break into show business in New York City. Ratso goes to St. Paul, Minnesota for a new start where he meets the White Bear Lake Fish house rats. They have quite an adventure in one of the fish houses.
Ratso tries to be Rat Rapper with:
Rats on the table, rats on the floor,
Rats can eat until their sore.
Rats in the sewer, rats on the run,
Being a rat is surely fun."
By the end of the story Ratso is a big success in Hollywood.
