Does a man know the Christian faith well enough to both display it in his life and teach it to others? Only an objective standard can supply the answer to that question. The Shorter Catechism provides an objective standard which works around the world in every culture. Dr. La May has produced an excellent tool to teach in the Puritan fashion. Each question is organized around the three classical questions: What does it say? What does it mean? What must I do about it? Any age group will benefit, but combined with personal instruction, nothing on the market matches this book for developing men to become church officers.
