Finally, the author, uses an island (escape from reality), which was not idyllic, strongly criticized human greed and ambition directed towards the "god of money", perhaps predicting the emergence of Postmodernity, in which the desire to get rich would become the goal of life for many people, leaving behind religious dogmas, principles and moral values, in a world that becomes more technological and less human, losing the essence of contributing to society and fulfilling religious obligations, in order to promote greater individualism and narcissism. Treasure Island is an extraordinary adventure novel, entertaining, and with a deep ethical and moral background.
