A middle aged family man with a desire to quit the urban jungle and head south to an off-grid bolthole in Cornwall. Shipping containers, rainwater harvesting, biogas, wood stoves and thermosiphoning hot water are just a few of the topics covered. After all this research, I came to the realization that this plethora of information might be of use to others. As a result, I decided to collate all my findings and present it in this book.
