Mayor of the Bleachers

When Gale, Missouri, is destroyed by a powerful storm, Agnes and Barr have a choice: They can stay in the tattered ruins of a dead Midwestern town, or venture into the real world to face the hidden lives that have held them back. For Agnes, it’s the memory of her parents’ grisly deaths – and the shameful legacy of their past – while Barr is haunted by the Deacon, a shadowy crime figure still wanted by the FBI. In the end, all roads lead to the Mayor... who sits in the bleachers and patiently waits.
