MURPHY'S FLAW

MURPHY'S FLAW

ByRobert Scott

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Edward Murphy was raised as the son of a wealthy South Carolina plantation owner. When the war between the states loomed he and his personal slave/best friend Prince go to join the South Carolina Militia which becomes part of the Confederate Army. Engaged in all the major battles of the east, they taste glorious victor and ignominious defeat. Fraught with danger and disease, they survive and have to walk from Appomattox back to South Carolina through the ruined and starving countryside. This is not a scholarly book of the Civil War but it will stand scholarly investigation as to the battles, dates, leaders, and results including the tremendous casualty lists. Even after the abolition acts Edward and Prince stay close as they have been all their lives.
