Calendar Illustration Lesson Plan

Drawing and painting animals to create a calendar mock-up is our lesson plan. The learner will study calendar art, calendar pads, and binding. We will discover the use of the software InDesign® in developing calendars. The learner can choose the animal of their choice to be rendered. The illustration will then be used as the front cover of the calendar and the first month, January as a mock-up for client approval. This close to actual print is called a comprehensive. Each area of our lesson plans not only help in the learners artistic skills but also each lesson emphasizes the use and need of the primary skills of learning; reading, writing, and math. You will find additional support in charts and graphs that will help in the learners process.
