The Thirteenth Law

The turn of the 28th century finds the Human diaspora divided between two concepts of civilization: the interconnected, centralized Inner Worlds and the fragmented, independent Far Worlds. As famines and upheaval consume the latter, the "Great Reunion" comes with a steep price. Uprooted, imprisoned, and eventually on the run, a young woman and her friends come of age while the universe around them spirals into a long-reaching tyranny.
