He brought pleasure to millions over the years – I myself was a life-long aficionado from the age of 12 – and he introduced a swashbuckling style that had never been seen before. A true pioneer in the history of the game, a man that ranks up there with the GOATS and someone that has won more titles and more matches than all of them. That’s more than Laver, Borg, McEnroe, Lendl, Agassi, Samprass, Becker, Djokovic, Nadal and Federer. Not only that, but Jimmy brought wit and humour to the watching millions and his on court antics and celebrations pushed the envelope in tennis entertainment.
