This book is a thought-provoking story. We hope it will be read aloud by girls, who are about to become teen-agers, to their mothers in private, and, thoroughly discussed by the two of them. And similarly, we hope it will be read aloud and discussed privately by fathers with their pre-teen sons. The major theme of the book is: The proper role of sexual impulses and gratifications in the lives of Christians. The first chapter is graphic. It’s not possible to discuss sex without a brief glance at the steps that move a couple from mutual admiration to a sexual climax. The rest of the story deals with the consequences of committing adultery. The text emphasizes the fact that when Christians are lured into adultery, and then, repent of their sinning, Jesus will forgive them. Still, those who commit this sin will have to deal with the consequences of it. The story illustrates the Good News: When Christians reach Heaven, no one there remembers their sins. The saved do not go through eternity feeling guilty for what they did on Earth.
