Citizen Pedro

Pedro immigrates from Mexico to the USA for college and in 2020 obtains a job with a new Department of Climate Control. His life includes girl friends, marriage, children, and work on an island where a pipe extending into the stratosphere is injecting sulfur dioxide to create sun-reflecting droplets. Although the continuing story of Pedro is fictional, excerpts from many scientific journals, authoritative newspaper and magazine articles accurately describe the climate change emergency. Coverage of climate change conferences organized by the Citizens Climate Lobby and the Miami-based Climate Leadership Education and Outreach project are also included.
