This interesting book was written to bring to light the positive aspects of flying in a unique aeroplane called Tim, an Air Zimbabwe Xi’an MA60 passenger aircraft. Tim is African-owned and a member of an impressive fleet of Air Zimbabwe aircraft. He is very nice and comfortable inside. He has a neat cockpit and is piloted by a crew of two. He is happy to give an excellent service that is generally bump free. He responds diligently to all commands instructed to him by the pilots. He needs to be balanced during flight and has equal seating arrangements on either side of his isle with significant overhead luggage compartments. This book describes Tim's journey from Bulawayo's Joshua Nkomo Airport to Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo Airport. It is written for anybody with an interest in flying. It also opens up details about the Xi’an MA60 which may be of interest to a dedicated plane spotter. Included therein are some of the historic examples of Air Zimbabwe’s fleet of aircraft. It is hoped that this book will lessen people's fear of flying.
